Is it a sin to vape?

Vaping involves inhaling aerosol produced by an electronic cigarette or vape, commonly for nicotine use or as an alternative to smoking.

1. Does it glorify God?

No. While vaping itself is not directly named in Scripture, deliberately harming or enslaving the body through an addictive substance conflicts with honoring God with our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19–20).

2. Can I do this without being tempted to sin?

No. Nicotine vaping can create or strengthen dependence, conflicting with the biblical principle of not being mastered by anything (1 Corinthians 6:12).

3. Could I do this with Jesus Christ next to me?

No. A Christian should consider whether vaping reflects self-control and stewardship of the body that Christ has given them (1 Corinthians 6:19–20).

So, yes, it is a sin to vape.

The Bible does not specifically mention vaping, but its principles concerning self-control, avoiding enslavement, and honoring God with our bodies provide a solid basis for this judgment.
